Company Overview

NACHRI promotes the health and well-being of children and their families through support of children's hospitals and health systems that are committed to excellence in providing health care to children. It does so through education, research, health promotion and advocacy.

Vision
NACHRI and its members are driven by the vision of a society in which all children and their families have access to the full continuum of pediatric health care services required to allow each child to achieve optimum health status. In achieving this vision, NACHRI and its members will be leaders for high quality, cost effective clinical care, education, research and advocacy for children and their families.

Goals

Promote unique role of children's hospitals.
Help children's hospitals build advocacy capacity.
Help children's hospitals measure, improve and innovate in their service delivery.
Help children's hospitals identify and address market, finance and regulatory challenges.
Strengthen NACHRI's ability to respond rapidly and effectively to changing member needs while maintaining fiscal integrity.
Strengthen alliances with other organizations that share common or related interests.

Mission
The National Association of Children's Hospitals supports children's hospitals in addressing public policy issues that affect their ability to fulfill their missions to serve children and their families.

In achieving this vision, N.A.C.H. champions public policy that promotes high-quality, cost-effective clinical care, education, research and advocacy for children and their families.

Goals
N.A.C.H. will fulfill its mission and vision through federal advocacy, collaboration and communication services designed to strengthen the ability of children's hospitals and health systems to:

Influence public policymakers' understanding and support for improved children's health and the missions of children's hospitals and health systems
Inform the children's hospitals and health systems leadership on the latest relevant developments in federal and state policy issues, as well as public and private grants opportunities
Advance access and quality of health care for all children
Sustain financially their missions of clinical care, education, research and advocacy
