We are seeking Regional Field Directors to manage the day-to-day operations of a high-stakes legislative field program. The RFD will oversee a team of Contract Organizers, ensuring that goals are met while maintaining compliance with Florida’s restrictive voter laws.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management: Hire, coach, and manage a team of Contract Organizers per district.
Operations & Payroll: Manage the daily logistics of the canvass operation, including the approval and processing of canvasser payroll.
Quality Control (QC): Enforce strict quality control protocols. Oversee the daily check-out and check-in of key documents to ensure no forms are lost or submitted late.
Training: Conduct biweekly training sessions on compliance, "best practices" for voter engagement, and safety protocols.
Strategic Deployment: Utilize relevant data to deploy canvassers to high-opportunity neighborhoods and locations.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all staff adhere to Florida law.
Requirements
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in field management or political campaigns, preferably within Florida or a similarly regulated environment.
Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of Florida election laws and regulations is preferred.
Data Literacy: Ability to interpret reporting data (conversion rates, turf packets) to optimize team performance. VAN / Votebuilder experience and fluency with Google Sheets required.
Leadership: Strong ability to hold staff accountable for both quantitative goals (doors knocked/forms collected) and qualitative standards (form accuracy/legal compliance).
Background Check: Must pass a background check.
Compensation
This is a full-time salaried position with an annual salary of $54,000 and comprehensive healthcare benefits.
