Stafford MSD is seeking an educational leader to serve as the Superintendent of Schools. The Superintendent of Schools serves as the educational leader and chief executive officer of the district. The ideal candidate demonstrates knowledge of Texas Legislative priorities, has proven success in managing district budgets exceeding $50 million and overseeing bond projects or major construction initiatives, and shows evidence of leading academic excellence initiatives, such as measurable reading, math, or college-readiness goals. Candidates should have a strong record of building partnerships with local businesses, higher education institutions, and civic organizations.

Requirements

Education/Certification: Superintendent Certification Experience: Minimum three years of classroom experience, 2 years of principal experience, and 2 years of central office/senior executive roles. Preferred Qualifications: Superintendent experience, experience in Texas public schools, doctorate degree.
